Diwali Sweet Jangri

Ingredients :

Urad dal : 1 cup
Orange color 2 pinches
Oil for deep fry

Syrup Ingredients :

Sugar : 2 cups
Water : 1 cup
Saffron : pinch
Lemon juice : 1 tsp
Cardamom powder : pinch

Method :

. Soak Urad dal 2-3 hours and make a smooth paste in the 
  food processor or in blender with adding little water. Add
  the food color and blend again like smooth fluffy .

. In a pan add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water make a
  sugar syrup, When sugar syrup comes to boil add
  saffron,lemon juice and cardamom powder and switch off 
  the stove.

. Take a zip lock bag in the center of the zip lock take
  toothpick make a small hole and fill the batter in to the zip
  lock and practice the jangri shape in a plate.

. In a wide pan heat the oil in medium flame and make a 
  jangris carefully and fry both sides.(It takes very little time).

. Drop the fried Jangris in to the sugar syrup let it soak for 2 
  minutes then remove from the syrup and place them in a

. Tasty Jangris are ready to serve.

Mutton Curry


Mutton : 1 lb
Chopped Onion : 2
Chopped Tomatoes : 2
Ginger Garlic Paste : 2 tbs
Green chillies : 2
Fresh Coconut : 2 tbsp
Poppy seeds : 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds : 1 tbsp
Cinnamon stick : 2 inch
Cardamoms : 2
Cloves : 4
Coriander Powder : 1 tbsp
Red Chillie Powder : 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder : 1 tbsp
Garam masala : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Curd (Yogurt) : 1/2 cup 
oil : 3 tbsp
Water : 2 cups


. In a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil add the chopped onions saute it 
  till light brown colour then add the chopped Tomatoes saute
  it till it becomes soft and let it cool and make a paste.

. Make a paste of Coconut, Poppy seeds, Fennel seeds, 2
  cloves and 1 inch cinnamon stick.

. In a Presser cooker heat 2 tbsp of oil add the cinnamon 
  stick, cloves, cardamoms and green chillies saute it and add 
  the ginger garlic paste saute it for 1 minute in medium

. Now add the Coconut paste saute it for 2 minutes, Add the
  onion tomato paste saute it for 5 minutes.

. Add the chillie powder, coriander powder, turmeric, pepper
  powder  cook for 2 minute.

 . Now add the mutton pieces mix it well and cook for ten
  minutes, Add the garam masala powder, salt and curd mix it
  well and cook for 2 minutes.

. Add 2 cups of water mix it well and add the chopped 
  cilantro  presser cook  until  4-5 whistles.

. If the curry is watery cook it in medium flame for 10 
  minutes or till it becomes thicken. 

. Serve the tasty  Mutton curry  with geera rice or plain rice
  or roti.

Microwave Milk Peda (Milk Fudge)

Ingredients :

Milk Powder : 2 cups
Condensed Milk : 1 can (14 oz)
Un Salted Butter : 1 stick (1/2 cup)
Saffron  for decoration or Nuts


. In a wide bowl melt the  butter in microwave for 1 minute.

. Add the Milk Powder and Condensed Milk and mix it well
  with out any lumps.

. Now Microwave the mixture for 4 minutes, Every 1 minute
  take out the bowl and mix with spatula. 

. Take a plate grease with butter or ghee, Pour the mixture
  and spread it like  1 inch, spread the saffron and let it cool
  for 5 minutes.

. Now  make a round balls and press it little (or) cut  with
  cookie cutter as u like.

. Easy and tasty Pedas are  ready to serve.

Chocolate Cake (Flour less Chocolate cake)

Ingredients :
Semi sweet chocolate squares: 4 0z
Butter : 1/2 cup (1 stick)
Coca Powder : 1/2 cup
Eggs : 3
Sugar : 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract : 1 tsp
Salt : 1/4 tsp(pinch)

Method :

. Microwave the butter and chocolate in a microwave safe
  bowl up to 3 minutes or until it melts, mix it in to smooth 

. In a bowl add the 3 eggs and sugar mix it well, Now add the
  coca powder, Vanilla extract and salt mix it well like a
  smooth paste.

. Now add the melted chocolate butter paste in to the egg 
  batter mix it smoothly with spatula.

. Pre-heat the oven 350 degrees

. Take a 7 inch cake pan spray butter place the parchment 
  paper and pour the cake batter and bake 25 minutes.

. Place the tooth pick in center remove the toothpick if it
  comes clean the cake is ready if it is sticky bake another 5
  min(exactly cake bakes in 25 min).

. Let it cool for 10 min and remove from the pan.

For Glaze:
 Chocolate : 2 0z
 Butter : 2 1/2 tbsp
 Milk : 1 1/2 tsp
 Honey : 1 tsp

. Melt the butter and chocolate mix it well, Now add the
  honey and milk mix it well until it become smooth.

. Let it cool for some time now pour the glaze in the middle of
  the cake and spread with spatula.

. Now the rich chocolate cake is ready to serve. :-)
