Maida (All Purpose Flour) : 2&1/2 cup
Curd (Yogurt) : 2&1/2 tbsp
Butter : 1/2 cup
Oil : 2 tbsp
Sugar : 1 tbsp
Cooking soda : 2 pinch
Oil for frying
For Sugar Syrup:
Water : 1/4 cup
Sugar : 1 cup
Lemon Juice : 1tbsp
Water for sugar syrup : 3/4 cup
Saffron : pinch
Cardamom powder : 1/2 tsp
. In a bowl take the melted butter and oil mix it, Add the Maida,
Cooking Soda, Sugar and Curd.
. Mix it with out any lumps, Then add the Curd and mix it.
. Now add enough water to mix the dough, Don't mix to much.
. Cover the Dough and Keep aside for 30 minutes.
. For Syrup in a Pan add Sugar and little water to melt water, Boil the
. Then add the Saffron, Cardamom powder and Lemon juice and keep
. Take the dough and make them small balls and press like Badushas.
. Heat the Oil and fry the Badushas in low flame up to Badushas
change to Golden Brown Color.
. Drain the Badushas in a paper towel and add in to the hot Syrup.
Leave it 2 minutes and drain the Badushas and keep it in the butter
. Sprinkle some dry Coconut and Saffron on top of the Badushas and
let them cool.
. If its not sticky place the Badushas in air tight container.
