Andhra Kandi Pachadi / Toor dal Chutney



Ingredients :
Toor dal : 1 cup
Dry Red Chillies : 4 - 5 
Tamarind soaked : small lemon size
Garlic cloves : 2 
Cumin seeds : 1 tbsp
Curry leaves : 5
Salt to taste
Seasoning :
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Onion chopped : 1/2
Dry Red chilli : 1
Curry leaves 
Oil : 1 tbsp


Method :


. Add 1/2 tbsp of Oil and roast the Toor dal , Red chillies, 
  Cummin seeds, Garlic cloves and Curry leaves in medium
  heat till they change light brown.




. Let it cool and grind all the roasted ingredients coarsely.



. Now add the soaked tamarind, salt and add little bit of
  water grind it.


. In a pan heat a tbsp of oil add the Mustard seeds, red
  chillie, curry leaves and Onions fry it, Now mix in to the
  grind paste.


. Serve with hot Rice adding ghee.
