Beetroot chopped : 4
Oil : 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Channa dal : 1 tsp
Urad dal : 1 tsp
Dry red chillie : 1
Curry leaves : 4
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder : 1/2 tbsp
Chillie powder : 1/2 tbsp (add to ur spice)
Salt to taste
Hing : pinch
Garlic clove : 1
Roasted Peanut powder (coarsely) : 2 tbsp
(If u don't like peanut powder add coconut powder)
. First peel the skin of Beetroot and cut in to small pieces.
. Now add 1 glass of water and cook the cut Beetroot for 10
minutes drain the water and keep aside(or) In a plate take
the beetroot pieces sprinkle some water and microwave for
. In a pan heat tbsp of oil add the Mustard seeds, Cumin
seeds splutter them and add the Dals, Hing and red chillie
. Now add cooked Beetroot, Curry leaves, Turmeric, Crushed
Gralic and salt mix it well and fry for 5 minutes.
. Now add the Coriander powder, Chillie powder mix it well
and last add the Peanut powder or Coconut powder.
. Serve with Rice...
