Soya Chunks Pulao



Ingredients :
Basmati Rice : 2 cups
Soya chunks : 1 cup
Vegetables (Carrots, Peas) : 1 cup
Onion small size chopped : 1
Tomato chopped : 1
Green Chillies : 4 
Ginger - Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Dry Coconut powder : 1 tbsp
Curd (Yogurt) : 3 tbsp
Cloves : 3
Cinnamon stick : 1 inch
Fennel seeds : 1/2 tbsp
Bay Leaves : 3
Pudina leaves : 6-7 
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tspn
Garam Masala powder : 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
water : 3 cups


Method :


. Boil the soya chunks drain water and keep aside , Soak the 
  Basmati rice for 10 minutes.


. Now in a presser cooker heat 2 tbsp of oil or ghee add the 
  cloves, Cinnamon stick, Bay leaves, Fennel seeds and fry  a
  minute.


. Then add the chopped onions and chillies fry  till it change
  color add the tbsp of  Ginger - Garlic paste fry  1 minute,
  Now add the chopped tomatoes and Coconut powder mix it
  well .


. Now add the Vegetables mix it well and cook for 2 minutes,  
  Then add the soya chunks and add the drained rice and mix
  it well, Then add the salt, turmeric and curd mix it.
  


. Now add the water and Garam masala mix it and close the
  cooker and cook up to 2 whistles.


. Now  remove the lid and mix it with fork and serve the 
  Pulao with Raitha.
