Tomato Rice




Ingredients :
Basmati Rice : 2 cups
Tomato Puree : 1cup
Onions chopped : 1/2 cup
Green Chillies : 3
Ginger - Garlic Paste : 1 tbsp
Coconut powder : 2 tbsp
Pepper powder : 1/2 tbsp
Fennel seeds : 1/2 tbsp
Cloves : 2
Cinammon : 1 inch
Garam masala : 1 tspn
salt to taste
Curry leaves : 5
Pudina leaves: 6 
Cilantro
Oil : 1 tbsp


Method :


. Wash the Basmati Rice and soak for 10 minutes.


. In a Presser cooker heat 1 tbsp of oil add the fennel seeds,
  cloves, Cinnamon stick, cardamom fry for 1 minute.




. Now add the Onions, green chillies, Ginger-Garlic paste,
  curry leaves and pudina leaves fry 2 minutes.



. Add the Tomato puree fry a minute, Add the coconut
  powder, pepper powder fry and then add the rice fry a
  minute.


. Now add water salt, garam masala and cilantro mix it well 
  and presser cook up to 2 whistles.



. Now the Tomato Rice is ready to serve with Rita and
  chips.
