Moong Dal Payasam / Poha Kheer



Ingredients:
Moong Dal : 1 cup
Jaggery : 1 cup or as per ur taste
Ghee : 2 tbsp
Milk : 3 cups
Water : 3 cups
Cashews : 1 tbsp
Raisins : 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder : 1/4 tsp


Method :


. In a Pan heat 1 tbsp of Ghee and  the Moong Dal fry for 5  
  minutes.



. In a presser cooker add the Water, Milk  and fried Moong 
  Dal and cook up to 3 whistles.



. Fry the Cashews and Raisins in a 1 tbsp of Ghee.



. Now add the Jaggery in the cooked Moong Dal and cook for
  5 minutes (If the Payasam is thick add milk or water).



. Now garnish with Cardamom powder , Cashews and
  Raisins.
