Ribbon Muruku / Ribbon Pakoda





Ingredients :
Rice Flour : 2 cups
Chickpea Flour (Besan): 1 cup
Galic cloves : 2
Ajwain : 1 tbsp
Dry Red Chillies : 4- 5
Salt to taste
Hot oil(for mixing flour): 4 tbsp
Asafoetida (Hing) : 1/2 tsp
Oil for deep fry


Method :


. First make a paste of Red chillies, Garlic, Ajwain and salt
  with adding some water and filter the water.



. In a Bowl add the rice flour,  besan flour and hing, Now add
  the 4 tbsp of hot oil and mix it.






. Now add the filtered water in to the flour and make it like a
  chapati dough.


. Heat the oil for deep fry, Place the dough in the ribbon
  muruku mold and press in to the circles in the hot oil and
  fry in medium flame till it become crispy.





. Remove in to the paper towel. let it cool and keep it air tight 
  container and serve.

Ragi Ladoo / Finger Millet Ladoo



Ingredients :
Ragi Flour (Finger Millet flour) : 2 cups
Jaggery Powder : 1 3/4 cup
Ghee : 1/2 cup
Cashews : 10
Almond slices : 10
Cardamom powder (Elaichi powder): 1/2 tsp


Method :
. In a pan heat  1/2 cup of ghee and add the cashews and 
  almonds  fry till  it changes to light brown.





. Now add the Ragi Flour and fry the flour in medium heat
  up to 8 -10 minutes  until the raw  smell goes out.






. Now add the powdered Jaggery and mix it well in low heat
  up to 3 minutes.






. Switch off the stove add the Cardamom powder let it cool
  some time and make ladoos in to round shape ( if ladoos 
  are not coming add 3- 4tbsp of  ghee mix it and make
  ladoos).



. Now the tasty and healthy ladoos are ready to serve.

Bhindi Kadhi




Ingredients :
Yogurt (Curd) : 2 cups
Okra (Bhindi) : 10-12
Besan : 2 tbsp
green chillies : 3
Ginger : 1 inch
Garlic : 2
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Asafoetied (hing): pinch
salt to taste
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Cummin seeds : 1 tsp
red chillies : 2
curry leaves : 5
Water : 1 cup
oil : 2 tbsp

Method :


. First cut the okra and microwave for 3  minutes and keep  it 
  aside.


. Make a paste of chillies, ginger and garlic.


. Take  2 cups of yogurt ,2 tbsp of besan, turmeric , salt and 
  chillie paste  add 1 cup of water and mix it well with out any
  lumps.



. In a pan heat 2 tbsp of oil add mustard seeds, cummin 
  seeds, hing, curry leaves and red chillies splutter them.




. Now add the okra pieces and fry for 10 minutes.  



. Add the mixed yogurt  and stir it well and boil for 5 
  - 8 minutes in low heat.





. switch off the stove and serve the kadhi with roti or rice.

Spinach Almond Sauce Pasta



Ingredients :
Pasta : 2 cups
Spinach : 1 cup
Toasted Almonds : 1 tbsp
Garlic clove : 1
Chilli flakes (or) black pepper:1/2 tsp
Salt to taste 
Olive Oil : 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese : 1/2 cup (optional)
Parmesan cheese : 4 tbsp


Method :


. Cook the pasta as mentioned in the box.


. In a  blender add the toasted almonds and make a
  powder and then add the spinach leaves, Garlic clove, chilli flakes
  and salt and make a smooth paste (add little bit of water to make a
  paste).



. In a pan add olive oil and spinach paste mix it and cook for 5-6
  minutes.



. Now add the cooked pasta mix it well cook for 2 minutes, switch off
 the stove and add the Mozzarella cheese and mix it well.







. Now serve the Spinach Almond Sauce Pasta with sprinkle some
  Parmesan cheese.
